Day 1: The Magic Wand

Let's get clear. What do you want the work environment to look like for you and your team? In this first lesson, we'll be supporting you to get clear on what the goals are for a resilient team, where are the conflicts and what steps you need to take for success. And what does success actually look like for you and/or your business? You'll learn how to look out for those warning signs that stop you achieving that success.

Day 2: Preventing & Managing Stressors in the Workplace

Recent approaches have been to care for the “worried well” and the “working wounded”. Unpack the problems with the current approaches and ways to build your own personal grit and that of your team.

Day 3: Stress & Performance

Many people don't know where there tipping point is. A little bit of stress is important for us to perform well but when will too much send us over the edge? How do we identify the tipping point? You will discover the 4 classifications of stress, how they manifest in the workplace and how we can manage them. You'll come away with a personal and workplace strategy to manage your limits and stress loads.

Day 4: The Practice of Gratitude in the Workplace

A daily practice of gratitude is proven to reduce cortisol by 27%! Yet how do we maintain a practice of gratitude in the workplace. In this practical lesson you'll discover ways to easily implement gratitude into your daily work practice. You'll learn what your workplace 'love language' is and how to identify it in your colleagues. This valuable tool will assist you in your communication, negotiation and for reducing workplace conflicts.

Day 5: An Empathetic Practice of Work

Part of building grit and resilience at work is about building your awareness.Emotional Intelligence is critical for building resilience. Emotional intelligence significantly impacts you or your team's ability to be effective in your roles. The number one cause of workplace derailment involves a deficiency in Emotional Intelligence. In this lesson you'll learn simple best practice as recommended by leading HR Specialists on how to build a practice for both yourself and those around you.

Day 6: 7 Common Traits of people who Exhibit Emotional Resilience

Now that you have established the culture and environment of the workplace and can recognise the impact on profit and productivity, it's time to reflect on YOU. In this powerful final lesson you'll discover the 7 Common Traits that are typically exhibited by resilient people (backed by science) with anecdotal stories, research and practical examples. In this final lesson you'll identify and celebrate your own resilient skills you may not be aware of, that you can harness and build. You'll establish areas you need to work on and ways to do so.

Day 7: Reflect & Revisit

You will have created a portfolio of reflection, plans and tools. The last day of the challenge is around reflection and consolidation of information.
